Ranks and Policies
Roll for Blame's guild ranks are based on what you like to do in the game/guild. Ranks are not necessarily a status thing; they are a planning tool for raid leaders. Your designation is based on how you choose to participate, including how often you attend. Ranks are as follows:
Alt: A place to keep everyone’s scrubby alts that have a main with a rank of member or higher. View guild bank and limited access for withdrawal.
Member: Even though we are primarily a raiding guild we do not limit our roster to just raiders. This rank is for toons that enjoy other aspects of the game other than raiding or for those who have scheduled raids outside of the guild and just want to hang out. Access to gems and glyphs from the guild bank.
Veterans: Some enjoy raiding but have limited time to play. This rank is for those who like to raid but can only make some of the raids or people that like attending our random 10 mans but are not interested in 25 mans. Access to raid supplies, gems and glyphs from the guild bank.
- PVPer:
- A rank dedicated for our PVP members, permissions for this rank are still being established.
- Raiders:
- This rank is based on attendance and performance. You must keep an 80% attendance rate and perform to your class’s expectation. Your toon must also have max enchants, proper gemming, and geared appropriately for your class. This rank will also get priority when it comes to invites for the guild’s main progression raids. Same guild bank access as veterans with a higher daily withdrawal rate.
- Officer:
- This officer rank is offered to a guild member who has shown considerable knowledge within their class as well as interest in helping the guild progress. An officer in this rank is expected to assist members with getting prepared for raids. A raid officer will help people within their class with specs, gemming, enchants, fight mechanics, and send them to blogs or videos that may help. EVERY member should be doing this on their own but if there is something you just cannot figure out or find these are the people to ask. They are by no means there for you to ask INSTEAD of looking, they are a resource, not your personal trainer. Same guild bank access as raiders with a higher daily withdrawal rate.
- War Council:
- Our guild is run by a council with all decisions and guild applications needing approval from all that hold this rank. To make this rank it will take every council member’s approval. Full guild bank access.
Guild Bank:
Raiding supplies in the bank, ie: flasks, feasts, potions... are for guild raids and not random pugs. Gems, glyphs are for anyone that has access to that tab. Gold in the guild bank is used for restocking the raid supplies in the bank and limited repairs. There are no mandated deposits required. BOE’s from our main runs that do not go to main spec will be sold to guildies at a discount and if not purchased they will be sold at the AH after which the gold earned will be placed in the guild bank.
Roster:
All players in the guild, including alts, must be active to remain in the guild. Any character in the guild that has not logged on for 30 days will be removed from the guild. If you know you will have an extended absence please let some one on the council know and arrangements can be made. If for some reason you are leaving the guild, take a moment and talk to a council member. We understand that a guild will not fit everyone's needs but if you just disappear with out a word there is a good chance you will not be welcome back. If you are leaving because you have issues please talk to someone on the council first. Communicating with the council might bring something to our attention that was missed and needs to be addressed. The issue may or may not be something that can be fixed but if we don't know we will not be able to do anything about it.
